How do you choose a vocational course and register at Maor Academy?

Choose a course by 3 things: the field that interests you, the admission requirements you meet and the certificate you receive at the end. Registration at Maor Academy takes 3 steps: you send a message on WhatsApp or through the form, have a short consultation and start studying in the next group. The price, the start dates and the funding options are given by phone or on WhatsApp.

Which fields can you study at Maor Academy?

Maor Academy has 12 study tracks in 3 fields: construction and safety (site managers, safety assistants, crane signallers, building defects inspection), administration (bookkeeping, payroll) and hi-tech (cyber and information security, cloud network management, data analysis, software testing). The full list is on the all courses page.

How do you know whether you meet the admission requirements?

Each course has its own requirements, and they are listed on the course page. A few examples: the QA Tester course asks for willingness to learn and succeed; the Payroll Accountant course asks for 12 years of schooling or knowledge tests; and the site managers courses ask for experience in the construction industry and an admission committee at the Ministry of Labor.

In the consultation we check your fit and the admission requirements with you, so you do not have to decide alone.

Which certificate do you receive at the end?

It depends on the course, and it is worth checking before you choose:

  • A certificate from the Ministry of Labor: site managers in building and in infrastructure, building defects inspection, property appraisal, payroll accountants and Bookkeeping 1 + 2.
  • Listing in the Safety Administration's registry of service providers: safety assistants, crane signallers and site managers who hold an engineer, practical engineer or technician certificate.
  • A certificate of completion from the college: the 4 hi-tech courses.

How long is a course?

The scope varies a great deal: from 19 academic hours in the Crane Signaller course to 630 academic hours in the Site Managers in Building Construction course. For example: the Payroll Accountant course takes 142 academic hours, the QA Tester course 220, and the Data Analyst, Cyber and Cloud Networks courses 320 each. The length of every course appears on its page. Teaching days differ from course to course, and the details are given in the consultation.
